Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are set to square off for undisputed gold once again in a WWE main event. This time it will be in a last man standing match at SummerSlam on July 30th, 2022. As previously reported, this match is going into territory that treads dangerous waters from a storytelling perspective. Their match at this year’s WrestleMania was touted as “the biggest WrestleMania match of all time.” The hype level and fanfare which that match received is almost impossible to reproduce, and it seems unlikely that Brock Lesnar will be leaving SummerSlam with the gold. With that in mind, WWE will need a creative way to end the show with a Roman victory that doesn’t leave audiences feeling cheated. The solution can be found on NXT 2.0
Solo Sikoa Has Been Making A Name For Himself In NXT 2.0
For those who watch Raw and SmackDown but skip out on the weekly offerings of NXT 2.0, you might be surprised to learn that the Anoa’i family (containing the likes of Roman Reigns and The Usos) has another member who is already making waves in WWE. Solo Sikoa is a son of WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi, as well as a brother to Jimmy and Jey Uso. In other words, yes, Solo Sikoa is related to Roman Reigns. He signed on with WWE in August 2021 and made his NXT debut later that year. Ever since, he has been making his presence known and establishing himself as a potential future star.
Sikoa has evolved into a capable performer in his own right, proving to be an adaptable member of the NXT roster who can put on a great show for WWE fans. As much as this currently benefits NXT 2.0, it leaves many fans wondering what it would look like for the up-and-comer to cross paths with the self-proclaimed "Head of the Table."

WWE Needs A Solution To Avoid Tired Booking And Disappointed Viewers
WWE fans still very clearly have a lot of excitement when it comes to Roman Reigns VS Brock Lesnar. The fanfare that surrounded WrestleMania was clear for everyone to see. Unfortunately, it seems like WWE has backed themselves into a booking corner of sorts with this show. It was obvious to most that the original plan was to build towards Roman Reigns VS Cody Rhodes going forward after Brock's WrestleMania loss. Unfortunately, with Cody's untimely injury before Hell In A Cell, an audible had to be called by WWE.
Although it's an understandable impulse to double down on something that has worked so well, this match is set up to almost definitely leave fans shrugging in the end. This isn't to say that the match will be a bad one in and of itself. Roman and Brock are two big time players that never cease to deliver.

Adding Solo Sikoa To The Mix Would Benefit Reigns Vs Lesnar At SummerSlam
If WWE has proven anything over the last two years, it's that you should never bet against Roman Reigns. With this in mind, as well as a potential match with the Rock at WrestleMania Hollywood, it's safe to assume that Roman won't be dropping the gold anytime soon. WWE has already explored Paul Heyman interferences, Uso interferences, and straight up clean pins with Roman and Brock. The only real angle left that ends in a Roman victory is to add a surprise new element to The Bloodline. Solo Sikoa is a perfect option who seems ready to make the jump.
An interference from Solo is something that most fans aren't going to expect. Having Brock overcome insurmountable odds by powering through both Roman and The Usos will allow him to continue looking stronger than ever, so he doesn't lose credibility for future matches. Solo Sikoa making a surprise debut to help the "Head Of The Table" win at the last moment would be a perfect conclusion to this unneeded extra chapter in the saga. It will show once and for all that Roman Reigns will ALWAYS find a way to beat Brock Lesnar.
Solo Sikoa Would Benefit Him With An Incredible Head Start In His Main Roster Career
Lastly, nothing would be better for this up-and-coming star than to make his main roster debut in such a strong way. Fans who knew nothing of who he was before will immediately recognize him as someone to be taken seriously, purely by association. Although it will provide the pressure of having to live up to massive expectations, he will be able to slowly grow into the role while assisting his family. You couldn't ask for a better way to start off a WWE career, or to book a great SummerSlam surprise!
